How we started

The Sacramento Sweets Company was founded in 1964 by Buz and Carole Minow. The store, located directly across the cobblestone street from the majestic Delta King River Boat, is one of the oldest original owner businesses in Historic Old Sacramento. Each of the four Minow children have worked in the family business. The oldest son Jason now serves as President and Chief Candy Technologist . The Sacramento Sweets Company prides itself in using only the finest domestic and imported ingredients in its very special Butter Brittles, Fudges and Hand dipped Chocolate, blending them with care only a family business can maintain.
